Established in 1986 in Villa Juarez south of Chihuahua City, Mexico, Casa Hogar Jeruel was moved in 1993 to it's current location on the north edge of Chihuahua City, Mexico. Casa Hogar Jeruel is a Christian home for orphaned and abandoned children and for children whose families can not provide for their basic needs. Daniel Banda, educated at Coligio Biblico in El Paso Texas, and his wife, Silvia, are dedicated to the Lord's work. They not only provide for the physical needs of the children, but also for their spiritual needs, expressing love and demonstrating God's love in practice. Assisted by their own sons and daughters, Daniel and Silvia introduce the children to the Gospel and instruct them in Christian living.
Missionary teams from various Churches are often guests at Casa Hogar, assisting with building projects and bringing the support of food, clothing, money and shared love through Christ. Support from Independent Churches has allowed Casa Hogar Jeruel to expand with increased dorm capacity and to build a Church on an adjoining property.
It is our hope and prayer that Casa Hogar Jeruel will continue to provide for the needs of the children and will expand as the Lord supplies from His infinite resources.
The following photos are just a few taken from various work and witness trips over the years.

Daniel & Sylvia Banda
Daniel and Sylvia Banda, together with their own children, have kept Casa Hogar Jeruel running for over 20 years. During that time, they have helped hundreds of orphaned children experience the love of Jesus in their lives.

Finishing of 2nd Floor Dorms
During the summer of 2003, a small group from the Newton Christian Church in Newton, Kansas, traveled to Chihuahua to help finish the second floor rooms. Originally, these rooms were to be used as classrooms for the Christian school on the premises. Unfortunately, Casa Hogar Jeruel was not able to raise enough money to operate the school. The rooms now serve as dorms for children and staff living at the orphanage.
Providing for the needs of the children who live at the orphanage is very expensive, even in Mexico. Unfortunately, Casa Hogar Jeruel usually struggles to raise enough money to cover expenses. Please help us by making a donation. Your generosity will help ensure that Casa Hogar Jeruel will not have to turn away a child in need.
But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. - Matthew 19:14
