Church Building Nearing Completion in 2003
Over 10 years ago, Casa Hogar Jeruel was blessed with the opportunity to purchase a vacant lot adjacent to their property. Of course, Casa Hogar Jeruel did not have the money to purchase the land, but Daniel felt the calling of the Lord to buy the land and build a church on it. The Lord provided the money, and numerous church groups from the United States provided the labor to build the building. Today the building is complete, and the church serves both the children living at the orphanage and families living in the surrounding community. The above picture was taken during the summer of 2003, as the exterior of the building was nearly finished.

Daniel and Family During a Worship Service at Their Church
Worship services at Casa Hogar Jeruel are very lively. Of course, they are conducted in Spanish, yet even visitors who don't speak the language say that they get a lot from the services. Worship is a universal language.

Daniel's sons David (keyboard) and Daniel Jr. (drums) Play in a Christian Band
Daniel's entire family helps in the orphanage and the church. A Christian band, including his sons David and Daniel Jr., are seen here playing during a service. Their music is energetic and uplifting, and the children really enjoy it.
Providing for the needs of the children who live at the orphanage is very expensive, even in Mexico. Unfortunately, Casa Hogar Jeruel usually struggles to raise enough money to cover expenses. Please help us by making a donation. Your generosity will help ensure that Casa Hogar Jeruel will not have to turn away a child in need.
But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. - Matthew 19:14
